West Sussex County Council is seeking an Administration Officer to provide customer-focused and efficient administrative support. You will prioritise daily tasks, organise events, coordinate statutory panels, and produce clear information, reports and agendas.
You will also manage meeting minutes, handle emails, process statutory requests, perform financial administration, and maintain council IT systems. A hybrid role at County Hall, Chichester with flexible days is offered.

The Highways, Transport and Planning (HTP) Directorate is part of the Place Services Department of West Sussex County Council. The work of the Directorate includes a wide range of statutory and other functions relating to highways, transport, travel, the countryside, planning, and development.

Salary: £9,990 to £10,149 per annum pro rata (Full time equivalent is £26,403 to £26,824 per annum)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Part Time - 14 hours per week with flexibility on the days/hours
Location: Based at County Hall, Chichester with hybrid working – currently 1-2 days a week in the office but can vary depending on business need. To be discussed further at interview.
