Job Title: Administrative Officer

Our Public Sector client based in Birmingham City Centre is currently looking for an Administrative Officer to support their department. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, usually 9.00am to 5.00pm, 31 hours per week. It is a temporary position with the possibility of extension, paying £12.21 per hour. The role is initially fully onsite during training for at least 6 weeks, with potential for hybrid working in the future (three days onsite, two days remote).

The responsibilities include:

  • Managing individual voluntary arrangement cases
  • Handling court orders and company dissolutions (deferrals)
  • Publishing information on the Gazette and Companies House
  • Responding to queries and complaints
  • Managing correspondence via letter, email, text, and phone

Skills and experience required:

  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and some Excel

Please note: This role requires a DBS check and three years of referencing.
