Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Administration and Clerical Officer based at University Hospital Crosshouse.

What you will do:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration and Clerical Officer to join our pharmacy team based at University Hospital Crosshouse in Kilmarnock.

The successful candidate will support our Departmental Secretary in providing a first class administration service for the 100+ staff employed in University Hospital Crosshouse Pharmacy Department and Woodland View Pharmacy Department and will work alongside a team of administration staff at other pharmacy sites to provide a robust service across our directorate.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Applicants will have the following qualifications:

  • SVQ Level II Business Administration or equivalent
  • Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office Software packages

Skills (Desirable but training will be given)

  • Excellent keyboard skills.
  • Minute taking skills.
  • Excellent communications skills verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including diplomacy and discretion.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Arithmetic skills

Experience (Desirable)

  • Previous experience of a secretarial type role.
