Please note that from September 2026 we are a two-site school, Avenue school site at 60 Christchurch Avenue, NW6 7BH, and the sixth form site at Harlesden Road NW10 3RN.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent attention to detail and can confidently manage a varied workload. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the school office, providing a welcoming first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and professionals while delivering high-quality administrative support to staff and senior leaders.
About the roleWorking under the guidance of the Headteacher and Site Senior Leadership Team, you will undertake a wide range of reception, administrative and organisational duties.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the school inbox, telephone enquiries and reception, welcoming visitors and supporting parents and staff.
Maintaining accurate pupil and staff records using Arbor and other school systems.
Supporting attendance monitoring and EHCP Annual Review administration.
Preparing correspondence, forms, reports and parent communications.
Providing general administrative support, including filing, printing, photocopying, invoicing and ordering.
Supporting school trips, events, meetings and room bookings.
Managing post, stationery, resources and agency staff records.
Supporting the management of medication following appropriate training, including first aid.
Maintaining confidentiality and complying with safeguarding, data protection, health and safety and school policies.

Accurate and detail-focused, particularly when handling pupil records and confidential information.

Confident using IT, including email, word processing, spreadsheets and databases, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
