Job summary

Total Plumbing in Llanelli, Wales, is seeking an organised Administrator/Counter Sales Assistant to join our busy branch. This dual-role covers admin support and customer-facing trade counter duties in a mixed office and retail environment.

You will handle banking and till reconciliation, process goods received notes and purchase orders, manage stock movements, assist with stock takes, and provide product advice to trade and domestic customers.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask across admin and sales functions.
• Previous experience in retail, admin, or trade counter environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily banking and till reconciliation in line with company procedures.
• Processing goods received notes and updating purchase orders.
• Booking in IBTs and special orders.
• Monitoring stock movements and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Maintaining shelf-edge labels and stationery supplies.
• Filing advice notes and providing proof of delivery when required.
• Assisting with stock takes and correcting stock location issues.
• Serving trade and domestic customers efficiently and professionally.
• Responding to telephone and counter enquiries.
• Providing product advice and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
