Job summary

The Owl Centre Ltd in Pontypool, Wales, seeks a Medication Journey Coordinator to support the ADHD medication service, guiding clients through referral, titration and annual reviews. The role involves coordinating clinicians, GP practices and pharmacies, ensuring clear communication and safe, compliant processes.

Initially office-based four days a week during training, the position moves to hybrid working (two days in the office).

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare operations or client coordination.
• Clear and confident communicator with strong relationship-building.
• Organised with good attention to detail.
• Experience using IT systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating ADHD medication pathways and allocating clients to clinicians.
• Supporting shared care with GP practices and ensuring documentation is up to date.
• Managing busy inboxes with timely and supportive responses to clients.
• Triaging clinical or operational queries and routing to the right clinician swiftly.
• Handling private referrals: enquiries, appointments, and information for start of care.
• Following SOPs, GDPR, safeguarding guidelines to keep the service compliant and safe.
• Monitoring delays or risks in the pathway and raising them early to protect patient care.
• Reviewing clinical letters and updates for accuracy before release to support safe prescribing.
