Job summary

The Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking a Clinical Specialist Prescriber (Nurse or Prescribing Pharmacist) to lead ADHD medication titration, review and stabilization for adults, in line with NICE guidance and SSC ADHD pathways.

You will maintain NMC registration with V300, document monitoring, and work within the FLOCUS pathway to ensure safe handover, governance and safeguarding while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Maintain current NMC registration and Nurse Prescriber V300 qualification.
• Prescribe ADHD medication within scope of NMP qualification with justification, documentation and monitoring.
• Participate in clinical audit, peer review and service evaluation.
• Safeguarding and risk management in line with policy and pathway.

Responsibilities

• Titrate ADHD medications for adults and monitor response.
• Escalate high-risk or atypical cases to Medical Director or Consultant Psychiatrist.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to governance standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists and GPs within the pathway.
• Contribute to MDT discussions and service development.
