Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is seeking an Additional Support Needs Assistant (Temporary) to support pupils across Renfrewshire in schools and other establishments. You will work under the supervision of nominated class teachers and be deployed to assist young people with Additional Support Needs, with experience of working with Pre-5 to secondary age children.

The role requires literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills, and involves working with pupils and staff across multiple settings.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with Pre-5, Primary or Secondary age children.
• Demonstrable literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.

Responsibilities

• Support young people in schools across Renfrewshire under direction of class teachers.
• Assist and work with teaching staff to support learning activities.
