Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a SEN Supply Teacher in Northampton to support a busy all-through SEN school. You will teach across different stages, adapt activities for pupils with Autism and/or SLD, and work with the school team to foster a positive learning environment.

The role offers flexible supply with potential for longer-term or permanent moves for suitable candidates who fit well with the school and pupil needs.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant teaching experience required.
• Experience working with children/young people with Autism and/or SLD.
• Adaptable to teaching across different year groups and stages.
• Demonstrates calm, patient, and adaptable approach with SEN learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, supportive teaching across an SEN setting.
• Support pupils with Autism, SLD, and additional needs.
• Adapt lessons and activities to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and school team.
• Maintain a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
