Job summary

British Cycling, based at the National Rehabilitation Centre, Stanford-on-Soar, Loughborough, is seeking a part-time Community Coach – Rehabilitation to support recovery through cycling.

Deliver bespoke cycling sessions, motivate participants, and work with NHS clinicians to integrate cycling into rehabilitation pathways.

This fixed-term 12-month role offers £27,000 per annum (FTE) with benefits including a cycle-to-work scheme, generous holidays and pension.

Qualifications

• Passion for cycling to improve health and quality of life.
• Experience using physical activity or sport in rehabilitation.
• Experience working with disabled people or those recovering from trauma or illness.
• Knowledge of adaptive cycles and inclusive coaching."
• Enthusiasm for innovating within a rehabilitation cycling programme.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke cycling sessions tailored to patient needs and rehab goals.
• Support participants to build confidence and healthy activity habits.
• Collaborate with NHS clinicians to integrate cycling into recovery.
• Monitor progress and contribute to evidence and programme development.
