A leading healthcare provider in Poole is looking for a passionate Physiotherapist to join their Acute In-Patient Specialities Therapy Team. The Acute In-Patient Specialities Therapy Team is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic acute Physiotherapist to join our expanding team. Our team covers clinical areas including the Front Door (Acute Medical Unit), Surgery, Medicine, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Oncology, and Intensive Care.
You will collaborate with Junior and Senior Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Assistants to deliver specialist therapy services within patient pathways. Support will be provided by Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Clinical Leads. We value teamwork and support our staff in achieving their full potential.
Applicants should have experience in ward-based and respiratory skills to care for a diverse patient population. The role requires the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
You will also support the training and development of junior staff, physiotherapy students, and those on the on-call rota. We promote ongoing professional development to ensure holistic patient care.
This is a fixed-term, 9-month rotational physiotherapy post to cover maternity leave, with the opportunity to work across various ward specialties within our established Band 6 rotations.
Rota: Usual working hours are 8 am to 4 pm, including weekends and on-call shifts as rostered.
