Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust advertises a Physiotherapist role rostered Monday to Friday (3.75 hours daily) primarily in the Emergency Department and acute wards at NSECH. A weekend commitment is required (1 day every 6 weeks and one Bank Holiday per year).

Applicants should be Band 5 or higher with Orthopaedics/MSK, Neurology/Elderly care, and Respiratory experience, plus excellent communication within the MDT and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Band 5 Physiotherapist or higher with core experience in Orthopaedics/MSK.
• Experience in Neurology/Elderly care.
• Experience in Respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• rostered to work Monday to Friday (3.75 hours per day) in Emergency Department and acute wards.
• Weekend work: 1 day every 6 weeks + one Bank Holiday per year.
• Participate in the respiratory on-call service at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care hospital.
• demonstrate excellent communication with the multidisciplinary team and peers.
