Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist for a part-time position at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington. The post works 3.75 hours daily over five days, with weekend and on-call commitments in ED and acute wards.

The role requires HCPC registration, CSP membership, CPD, and leadership in a fast-paced clinical setting. A driving licence or work vehicle is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSC Honours degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
• Clinical Educator qualification provided by University.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat an independent clinical caseload in the acute setting.
• Work as part of the physiotherapy team under guidance of senior staff.
• Provide a high standard of physiotherapy care.
• Contribute to student education.
• Support day-to-day leadership and organisation of the team.
• Lead with inclusive leadership and coaching to foster team collaboration.
