Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Physiotherapist to work across In-Patient Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Out-Patients within NTIMS. The role involves a split across services, with rotation through inpatient orthopaedics, elective and trauma care, and MSK pathways.

You will participate in a seven-day rota for inpatient services and support staff development, with secondments considered.

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist registered with HCPC.
• Experience across inpatient orthopaedics and MSK settings is beneficial.
• Ability to deliver advanced clinical reasoning and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physiotherapy treatment for complex MSK and inpatient orthopaedics cases.
• Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide education, supervision and support to staff and students.
• Provide specialist advice to families, carers and other health/social care professionals.
• Contribute to planning, development and audits of the Physiotherapy service.
• Supervise qualified and unqualified staff within the team.
