Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal ACP training and a master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice are required.
• Experience in acute oncology or acute medicine is advantageous but not essential as you will be supported to develop the required skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical management of acute oncology patients from first presentation to discharge.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate interventions for complex issues and serious illness.
• Prescribe within the scope of non-medical prescribing and according to Trust policy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Contribute to service development, audit and research and maintain professional development.
