Job summary

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will work autonomously, conducting clinical assessments for acute, emergency, and elective haematology patients, ordering investigations and initiating treatments within defined competence and protocols with senior clinicians and the multi-professional team.

Job description

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will work autonomously as a practitioner. They will undertake clinical assessments for acute, emergency, and elective haematology patients. They will order and carry out investigations and initiate treatments within defined competence and protocols in collaboration with the senior clinicians and multi-professional team.

The ACP will lead, develop, implement, and evaluate the delivery of elective assessment services.

They will provide leadership and clinical support to nurses working in the service in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary and senior nursing team.
