We are offering a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our innovative Virtual Ward team, bringing experience to a multidisciplinary team that includes Triage, Cardiac assessment, Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapies, Home, and Ambulatory Care.
The Virtual Ward provides a safe, efficient alternative to hospital beds, supporting patients in their homes to prevent admissions or enable early discharge. The role involves remote patient care using devices feeding into Epic, telephone consultations, face-to-face reviews, and ward visits across the Royal Devon to support patient flow.
This position supports the national priority of digitally enabled care, embedding technology to improve outcomes and reduce hospital pressure. The role also involves quality improvement and working with multidisciplinary teams.
Working Pattern: Part and full-time positions available.

Pay: Salary reflects Agenda for Change 5/6 rates, with a future pay award to be implemented later this year. If you start before the award, backdated pay applies until then, based on current pay scales.
