BAND 4 MEDICAL SECRETARY - 37.5 hrs (Fixed Term / Secondment Opportunity)
We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified individual who would be interested in joining the Acute Medicine Secretarial Team, primarily based at Royal Stoke, with adhoc working at County Hospital.
We are looking for a reliable self-motivator who puts our patients first, interacts well within a team, and who wants to develop professionally and supervise their own team. The post holder is required to provide comprehensive secretarial, waiting list management, and administrative support to medical and nursing staff within a specialty team. The post holder will assist medical and nursing colleagues in the organisation of the specialty team workload, communicating appointment and admission related information to patients/carers.
The post holder will be compliant with the Patient Access Policy and Divisional requirements in terms of inpatient and outpatient waiting list management. The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of the administration team.
