Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint staff to the AMU department. The AMU is a fast paced emergency assessment unit serving unplanned care and patients from GP referrals, clinics and A&E.

The successful applicant will work with a dedicated team across multiple medical specialties and benefit from a structured development plan and further educational opportunities. Candidates need to have completed preceptorship post qualification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Department Sister/Charge Nurse.
• Work in accordance with Nursing/Midwifery professional bodies and Trust Policies.
• Support delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service; act as a role model to others and demonstrate NNUH’s PRIDE values.
• Work with all AMU team members within the multi-disciplinary framework.
• Work in all areas of the department.
