Job summary

NHS Grampian in Aberdeen is advertising a full-time Band 5 Occupational Therapist on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave for 9 months. The role involves working within the Acute medical team across general medicine, respiratory, cardiology, infectious diseases and gastroenterology units.

You will work closely with Senior Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary teams to assess and treat inpatients, with opportunities for CPD, supervision and access to a Band 5 Support Group.

Qualifications

• Registered with HCPC and eligible to practise as an Occupational Therapist.
• Full UK Driving Licence; access to a car may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients in the inpatient acute medical setting.
• Work with Senior Occupational Therapists and MDTs across multiple units.
• Participate in CPD, supervision, and Band 5 Support Group activities.
