What will you be doing?
We’re looking for a qualified actuary to join Unum as an Actuarial Reporting Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build experience across Solvency II, UK GAAP and US GAAP reporting, while also gaining exposure to the broader financial management of the business through capital forecasting, dividend activities and supporting the delivery of wider initiatives (e.g. Part VII transfer, model changes).
You’ll have the chance to own key pieces of work, lead process improvements and drive change within the team. The role offers regular interaction with senior stakeholders, providing a platform to develop your communication and influencing skills, while also supporting and mentoring more junior colleagues as part of a collaborative team environment.

Location
Hybrid working. You’ll spend 3 days a week in the office and 2 days working from home. Of the office-based days, at least 1 is in Dorking and the other 2 can be in Dorking, London or Basingstoke
