You’ll ideally have:
  • Be a nearly qualified actuary with 1-2 exams remaining, or a newly qualified actuary with up to 3 years’ post-qualified experience.
  • Experience gained within Life Insurance, General Insurance or Pensions, with an interest in applying your skills within a new environment.
  • Knowledge of Solvency UK and the wider UK regulatory framework.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate meaningful insights.

  • A collaborative approach, with experience supporting, mentoring or working closely with actuarial students and colleagues.
  • The ability to balance strong technical understanding with commercial awareness and practical decision making.
  • A curious mindset, with a desire to understand methodologies, challenge existing approaches and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver high-quality work across multiple priorities.
  • A proactive approach to learning, development and professional growth.
  • An interest in building a long-term career within Group Risk and the wider Life Insurance market.
