Role Summary

Equiniti, one of the UK's largest Pensions & Benefits Consultancies, seeks an Actuarial Project Consultant for its Regulatory Change Team. This role is ideal for a Part Qualified Actuary with UK DB pension consulting experience who prefers an office/remote working environment over client-facing roles. Responsibilities include supporting calculations, preparing proformas, and working on projects such as GMP Equalisation, benefit rectifications, LTA abolition, and McCloud remediation.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

• Creating complex calculations and writing precise formulae.
• Checking and auditing quotes, claims, and servicing/discontinuance work.
• Identifying process gaps and proposing solutions.
• Innovating to improve efficiency and accuracy through new or existing solutions.
• Managing projects, including designing plans, maintaining risk logs, and liaising with clients.
• Performance management and providing training/coaching to colleagues.
• Supporting project leaders and management, escalating issues with proposed solutions.
• Preparing client reports, arranging meetings, and teleconferences.
• Building relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
• Identifying training needs and seeking development opportunities.
• Maintaining data and providing management information.
