Job summary

WTW in the United Kingdom is offering an actuarial placement within the Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) team. You will develop technical knowledge through real-world actuarial problems, present results to colleagues and clients, and build relationships across cyber, financial institutions, marine and construction sectors.

The role includes study support to become a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, with a four-day-per-week in-office hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• A natural problem solver with a mathematical and analytical mind.
• Able to work with and analyse data to draw meaningful conclusions.
• A confident communicator who knows how to build relationships and clearly convey complicated information.
• Curious and eager to build and apply your knowledge.
• Comfortable working in a team.
• At least 2:1 degree-qualified in any discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop your technical knowledge on challenging, real-world actuarial problems for clients.
• Presenting the results of your work to colleagues and, ultimately, clients.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients across sectors, including cyber, financial institutions, marine and construction.
• Grow every day, from a thorough induction to ongoing professional development and training.
• Be mentored and supported as you study to become a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries
