Job summary

Aon Reinsurance seeks an Actuarial Analyst for the UK team: Globally Managed Clients. The role centers on technical modelling and financial analysis for Globally Managed Clients with emphasis on property lines, requiring a near-qualified actuary with a GI pricing background.

You will perform data preparation, reinsurance pricing and analysis, stochastic modelling with ReMetrica, actuarial model building and testing, and present results to brokers and clients.

Qualifications

• Highly numerate with a minimum 2.1 degree and 3+ years relevant experience.
• Ability to present complex ideas simply and effectively.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Data Preparation: Collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis.
• Reinsurance Pricing and Analysis: Conducting pricing and financial analysis for reinsurance contracts.
• Stochastic Modelling: Use of ReMetrica software to stochastically analyse reinsurance treaties
• Actuarial Model Building and Testing: Developing and validating actuarial models to support pricing, reserving, and capital management.
• Presentation of Results: Communicating findings and recommendations to brokers and clients in a clear and concise manner.
