Job summary

Pacific Life Re is seeking an innovative actuary to join the Divisional Pricing team in London. You will report to the VP Pricing and work across global markets with actuaries, underwriters, data scientists and senior management to challenge and refine pricing strategies.

Your role involves reviewing complex quotes, deep-diving into pricing assumptions, and developing pricing methodologies. A strong technical background, independence, and interest in analytics are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary with pricing experience.
• Ability to work independently in a small, flexible team.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in statistical methods and programming.

Responsibilities

• Review frontline pricing on large and non-standard quotes.
• Conduct deep dives to validate pricing assumptions and methodologies.
• Monitor and report Enterprise Pricing Metrics at product family and PL Re level.
• Contribute to division-wide pricing methodologies and reference library.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to advance pricing capabilities.
