Job summary

We Change Lives is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator for Heathside & The Mews Care Homes in Northwest England. You will plan and lead arts, crafts, music, games, gentle exercise, celebrations and community outings to help residents stay active, connected and engaged, including those living with dementia.

The role offers a permanent contract, 30 hours per week, with a pay of £12.71 per hour and a £250 welcome bonus.

Qualifications

• Caring, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Creativity and confidence to lead group and one-to-one activities.
• Interest in working with elderly people and people living with dementia.
• Full training provided; previous care experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead arts and crafts, music sessions, games and gentle exercise for residents, including those with dementia.
• Organise celebrations and community outings to keep residents active, connected and engaged.

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and creative Activities Co-ordinator to join our friendly team at Heathside & The Mews Care Homes.

In this rewarding role, you'll help create enjoyable and meaningful experiences for older people, including those living with dementia. From arts and crafts and music sessions to games, gentle exercise, celebrations and community outings, you'll support residents to stay active, connected and engaged.

No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference by planning activities that reflect each resident's interests, abilities and life experiences.

• £12.71 per hour
• Permanent contract - 30 hours per week
• Monday - Sunday
