Job summary

Ardenlee Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance daily life for residents through engaging, person-centred activities. You will plan and deliver group and one-to-one sessions tailored to individual interests and care needs, including those living with dementia, building strong relationships with residents and their families.

The role is part-time, 12 hours per week (2 days, 11am–5pm), offering paid PVG, pension, uniform, and 5.6 weeks of annual

Job description

Our care home sits in its own grounds with scenic views over the sea, woodland, and gardens, specialising in residential care for 32-residents.

Activities Coordinator Contract

• £13.08 per hour
• Contracted to 12 hours per week - 2 days 11am - 5pm
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
