Care Dorset Ltd. seeks an enthusiastic activities coordinator to support the delivery of activities across residential and day care settings. You will work with the manager and care staff to develop engaging programmes reflecting residents' wishes and needs, supervise group activities, and maintain records.

The role may involve assisting with personal care and coordinating volunteers. We value people-focused teamwork, integrity, and ongoing development.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Support the Manager and care staff in arranging and delivering activities for service users in residential/day care settings.
• Develop activities reflecting service users' wishes and needs as assessed by care staff.
• Run and supervise individual and group activity programmes.
• Maintain service user records and contribute to other establishment records.
• Provide personal care to service users as required.
• Undertake the direction of volunteers.
• Contribute to development/review of individual care plans for social/mental stimulation.
• Organise group and individual activity programmes and undertake risk assessments for planned activities.
• Participate in staff meetings and undertake training.
• Undertake any other duties of a lesser or comparable nature as required.
