You should be patient and kind, enjoy getting to know residents to tailor activities, and use strong planning, organisational and IT skills. A NVQ2 in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent is desirable, with progression toward level 3.

Job description

As a Activities Co-ordinator this will mean planning and implementing the kinds of activities that will delight our residents. Youenriching the lives of our residents and helping them stay physically and mentally active. This is a fun and immensely rewarding role that promotes socialising and enhances wellbeing, playing a major part in our residents’ engagement and happiness.

This role would suit someone who is passionate about making people happy, you will be the sort of person who likes to get to know people so that activities can be personalised. Parts of this role will be challenging so it is vital that you are patient and kind.You’ll have great planning, organisational and IT skills and be able to manage your time effectively.

It is desirable for you to have a S/NVQ level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent working towards level 3.
