Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Bury Forestwood is seeking a Part-time Activity Coordinator to support the occupational therapist by encouraging patients to take part in activities, keep up hobbies, and run therapy programmes and events.

The role is 18 hours a week over three evening shifts from 4pm to 10:30pm, with alternate weekends. A DBS check and a UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, with an interest in mental health.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
• Academic strength.

The role supports the occupational therapist by encouraging patients to take part in activities, keep up existing hobbies, and run therapy programmes and events.
