CYGNET is seeking an Activity Coordinator at Godden Green Hospital near Sevenoaks to design and deliver a personalised activity programme for female PICU patients. The role requires co-producing activity plans, promoting well-being, and enabling 25 hours of meaningful activity weekly within a recovery-focused model.

You will coordinate across services, work on a rota including weekends, and may drive hospital vehicles to off-site activities. DBS checks will be enhanced.

• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driving licence and access to vehicle may be required.

The hospital is situated in the beautiful countryside of the Kent Weald, near Sevenoaks.We are looking for an Activity Coordinator with a passion for delivering excellent care to develop, plan and implement activities for our patients based on Castle Ward, our female PICU service.As an activities coordinator you will providing activities to patients across various service lines within the hospital. Your main job role will be to co-ordinate, design and deliver a co-produced, personalised activity programme, that is occupationally balanced, risk-assessed and fully resourced, so that all individuals have the opportunity and are encouraged to engage in at least 25 hours of meaningful activity each week.You will be working 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis, which includes weekends and preferably be a car driver due to the remote location of the Hospital.Previous experience of working in a Mental Health hospital is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided and ongoing opportunities for professional development.Apply now to enjoy excellent career prospects while reaping the rewards of making a difference to others – every day.In this role, you will:Promote and ensure the good reputation of the Hospital, maintain and demonstrate a positive attitude toward patients, their families, staff, visitors and key stakeholders.Be responsible for planning and facilitating activities to promote well-being of patients. Promoting social engagement and meaningful activity.Support patients to create independent and focused activity plans based on their specific interest and goals.
