Westerton Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking an experienced Activities Lead to deliver a wide-ranging programme for residents, including those living with dementia. You will plan, run and review activities, building meaningful social engagement and wellbeing through creative and social sessions, outings and events.

The role requires prior care-home activity delivery experience, strong communication, and the ability to tailor activities to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering activities within a care home environment is essential.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to run a varied programme.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents’ interests and care needs.
• Maintain accurate activity records and participant engagement data.
• Coordinate with Home Manager and care team to align activities with care plans.
• Support events and special occasions and adapt activities for dementia and other needs.
