Job summary

Anglian Water Group is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Duty Manager to support the delivery of our watersports programme and lead a team of instructors at our reservoir setting.

The role involves working with the Activities Manager to ensure safe, successful and enjoyable delivery across sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, rowing, raft building and power boating while upholding high safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team
• Valid First Aid qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, RYA Senior Instructor qualification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Senior Instructor
• Experience working in an outdoor activity or watersports environment

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of watersports instructors
• Manage online activity bookings and customer enquiries
• Conduct risk assessments and safety reviews
• Complete building inspections and fire alarm testing
• Investigate and report accidents and incidents
• Undertake daily and weekly banking procedures
• Help maintain high standards of safety, customer service and operational excellence

What will you be doing?

As Activities Duty Manager, you'll work closely with the Activities Manager to ensure the safe, successful, and enjoyable delivery of our activities programme, including: sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, rowing, raft building and power boating on our beautiful reservoir.
