Job summary

Chetwynd House Care Home in Chilwell, Nottingham, invites applications for an Activities Coordinator to deliver engaging, person-centred activities that promote independence and social interaction. Qualifications

• Creativity in planning engaging activities for older people.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a varied activity programme.
• Understanding of person-centred care to promote dignity and wellbeing.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe activity delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver activities tailored to residents' interests.
• Deliver group and one-to-one activities with a focus on inclusion.
• Maintain accurate activity records and adapt programmes as needed.
• Work with residents, families and staff to encourage participation.
• Support residents' independence, wellbeing and social engagement.
