Job summary

The Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution Care Company is seeking an Activities Assistant at Queen Elizabeth Court, Llandudno. You will plan and lead a variety of social, cultural and recreational activities to promote wellbeing, social connections and joy for residents.

We offer an hourly rate of £12.88 for 20 hours per week, with training and support. RMBI Care Co. values kindness, support, and trust, and encourages applications from all backgrounds; DBS checks are provided where required.

About the Role

As an Activities Assistant, you’ll help plan, design and lead a variety of social, cultural and recreational activities. Your role will be key in providing residents with opportunities to connect, express themselves and engage in meaningful activities. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure the activities support the residents' physical, emotional and social needs. From group sessions to individual pursuits, you’ll create a diverse and fulfilling schedule that reflects each resident’s preferences.

By creating meaningful activities, this role helps turn the care home into a place of connection, laughter, and joy, where every day holds the potential to make lasting memories.
