Job summary

Curaa Group is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to design, implement and supervise engaging activities for residents, including weekends. You will build relationships with residents and their families, plan holiday events, and arrange outings while ensuring safety through risk assessments.

The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centred care and a warm, engaging approach to enrich residents' daily lives.

• Develop a rapport with residents to support them throughout the day.
• Develop relationships with relatives to help better support and understand residents.
• Plan and organise events for different holidays.
• Arrange trips and excursions for the residents.
• Guarantee that risk assessments are carried out on the activities inside and outside of the home.
• Understand and record the life histories of residents.

And, whether you are helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you will always have their well-being in mind above anything else.
