Job summary

Curaa is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator in Wooburn Green to plan and oversee engaging activities for residents, including weekends. You will build rapport with residents and their families, arrange events and trips, and ensure safe, well-documented activities that respect each resident's history and dignity.

The role emphasises heart-led care, adaptability, and teamwork in a community-driven care home setting. Weekend work is included and compensation reflects UK market norms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee varied and engaging activities for the residents.

• Plan and organise events for different holidays.
• Arrange trips and excursions for the residents.
• Guarantee that risk assessments are carried out on the activities inside and outside of the home.
• Understand and record the life histories of residents.

Someone who can deliver a level of carethat truly comes from the heart,making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in general activities within the care home. And, whetheryou arehelping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed residentor delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you will always have their well-being in mind above anything else.
