A leading healthcare provider in Reading is seeking an Activity Co-Ordinator for Bluebell Ward. This role involves planning and implementing activities to support the mental health of in-patients. The position offers flexible working hours and a supportive environment for career development.

Bluebell ward is one of the acute wards providing care to adults with mental health conditions such as Bipolar affective disorder, depression, and schizophrenia. It can support up to 18 patients in a caring and compassionate environment, located in Reading close to town amenities and a leafy park. We work closely with patients and families to identify needs and actively involve them in their care, fostering a culture of empathy, kindness, and collaboration.
The Activity Co-ordinator service operates seven days a week, with working days rotating (including weekends) alongside a second Activity Co-ordinator. Working hours are flexible and can be discussed with the hiring Manager.
The main responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and implementing a range of individual and group activities to meet the social and recreational needs of in-patients. You will work independently on the wards, reporting any clinical progress, concerns, or changes to a qualified practitioner.
