Job summary

Greenways Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance daily life for residents through a diverse activity programme. You will deliver group and individual activities, tailored to interests and care needs, in a caring, person-centred approach.

You will work with a friendly team to promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction, with training provided. The role welcomes both experienced candidates and those new to care, and full-time hours are

Greenways Care Home is a stunning new, purpose-built home in Anniesland, offering high-quality residential, dementia, nursing and respite care for 58 residents across four warm, community-focused floors. Activities Coordinator Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to full time hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in activities or a similar role is beneficial, however candidates with transferable skills from roles such as hospitality, events, childcare or community work are encouraged to apply
