Job summary

Hallhouse Care Home in Fenwick, East Ayrshire, is hiring an Activities Coordinator to enhance daily life with meaningful activities for residents, including those living with dementia. You will plan and deliver group and one-to-one programmes tailored to each resident's interests and needs.

Located in the peaceful village of Fenwick, East Ayrshire, Hallhouse Care Home provides high-quality Residential, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 47 residents. With an impressive carehome.co.uk rating of 9.9 and Care Inspectorate grades of 5, 5, 5, 4, and 5 we are dedicated to delivering compassionate, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Activities Coordinator Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
