Earlsferry House Care Home in Elie, Fife, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents' interests and care needs.
You will build strong relationships with residents and the wider team, supporting wellbeing and social interaction, including those living with dementia. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you develop in the role.
Earlsferry House Care Home is a charming, converted period home set beside the beach in the coastal town of Elie, Fife, with stunning views across Elie Bay. The home provides Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 26 residents in a warm and welcoming environment, where its smaller, close knit setting allows you to build meaningful relationships and make a real difference every day as part of a supportive team.
As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.
You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.
Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
