Job summary

Agincare is seeking an Activities Coordinator at Nightingale care home in Derby to plan and lead engaging activities for residents. The role focuses on social engagement, crafts, events and outings, helping residents stay connected and active throughout each week.

The ideal candidate brings a warm, creative, people‑oriented approach, with a background in care being desirable; right to work in the UK is required, and a 24‑hour per week schedule with some weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK for at least 12 months.
• Availability to commit to 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
• Shifts from 10:00 to 16:00 with some flexibility.
• A warm, creative, people‑focused personality; care sector background desirable.

All you need

• Right to work in the UK for at least 12 months

• Working 6 hours shifts from 10am to 4pm - there is some flexibility with the working hours
• A warm, creative, people-focused personality
• A background working within the care sector which includes planning, putting activities in place, social engagement and participation in events would be desirable
