Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking an Activities Coordinator at Admiralty care home to design and deliver engaging activities for residents. A warm, creative, people-focused personality helps create joyful daily moments, with weekend commitments and a 21-hour weekly schedule across the care home.

You’ll plan events, coordinate entertainers and local visits, and support residents’ movement and independence through fun activities, contributing to a vibrant, inclusive community.

Responsibilities

• Design and run engaging activities and events for residents.

• Arrange visits from entertainers and local businesses.
• Support movement and independence through fun physical activities.
• Lead social outings and in-home activities for all abilities.

How you’ll make a difference

• Bring energy, creativity and fun into daily life for our residents
• Plan engaging activities, games, quizzes, crafts & one-to-one moments
• Organise events like BBQs and Christmas parties
• Arrange visits from entertainers & local businesses
• Support movement and independence through fun physical activities
• Lead social outings and in-home activities for all abilities

All you need is:

• A minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
• The availability to commit to 21 hours per week to include working alternative weekends
• A warm, creative, people-focused personality
• A background working within the care sector which includes planning, putting activities in place, social engagement and participation in events would be desirable
