Oakbank Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, invites applications for an Activities Coordinator. The role focuses on delivering engaging, person-centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction for residents, including those living with dementia.
You will plan a varied programme, deliver group and one-to-one activities, and build strong relationships to understand preferences while enabling inclusive participation. Training is provided for newcomers.
Oakbank Care Home is a well established care home in Crieff, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Palliative and Respite care for up to 70 residents. As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.
You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.
Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
