Job summary

Meadowvale Care Home, part of Belsize Healthcare, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance daily life for residents through engaging, person-centred activities. You will plan and deliver group and one-to-one sessions, tailored to individual interests and care needs, fostering wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

Training and support are provided; suitable for both experienced candidates and those new to care.

Job description

Meadowvale Care Home is a purpose built care home located in Bathgate, West Lothian, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 52 residents. With an experienced team and a strong focus on person centred care, the home offers a supportive and well established environment where team members can feel valued and confident in their role.

Activities Coordinator Contract

• £13.21 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
