Colinton Care Home in Edinburgh is seeking an Activities Coordinator to help create a vibrant, engaging environment for residents across residential and nursing care. The role focuses on planning group activities, events and one-to-one interactions to promote wellbeing and social connection.

You will build relationships with residents, tailor activities to interests, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Sociable, creative and engaging personality.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to plan activity programmes.
• Genuine passion for working with older people and wellbeing.
• Confidence to lead activities and work independently or in a team.
• Previous experience in activities, events, hospitality, care or customer facing roles beneficial but not essential.

Colinton Care Home, located in Edinburgh, provides high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative Care in a warm and welcoming environment. Set within spacious landscaped grounds, the home combines exceptional care with a supportive atmosphere where residents can thrive and colleagues can build rewarding careers.

Activities Coordinator Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• 21 hours per week
• Day shifts available
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
