Care Concern Group is seeking an Activities Coordinator at Manor Grange Care Home in Edinburgh to plan and deliver engaging activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction. You will tailor programmes for residents, including those living with dementia, and work with the wider team to foster a positive, stimulating environment.

The role welcomes both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to develop in the role.

Description du poste

Manor Grange Care Home is a purpose built 83 bed care home located in the Pinkhill area of Edinburgh, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative care. The home offers a well established and supportive environment where team members can deliver high quality, person centred care as part of a professional and dedicated team.

• £12.98 per hour
• Contracted to 22.5 or 37.5 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
