About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories, just like everyone else. As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents, assist the Home Manager in organising fundraising events, and foster social confidence among Residents. Whether developing new activity ideas based on residents’ hobbies or involving the care team, your approach will always be rooted in kindness.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, excellent planning, organisational, and IT skills, and effective time management are essential. You will communicate with Residents and colleagues considerately and kindly.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to act on concerns. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You must also be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
