Salary: £24,206 FTE per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

Your impact

This role involves planning and delivering high-quality stay and play group sessions for babies, young children, and their parents/carers within the four Stockton on Tees Borough Council Family Hubs. You will create a welcoming, stimulating environment with activities supporting developmental milestones and ensuring inclusivity for families from diverse backgrounds. You may also support other family-focused groups as needed.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide safe, creative, and developmentally appropriate play opportunities by planning and preparing engaging activities and equipment.
  2. Ensure a safe environment through risk assessments, supervision, and safety protocols.
  3. Set up and dismantle play spaces, including equipment and furniture.
  4. Follow health and safety procedures consistently.
  5. Promote parental involvement and support, developing relationships with families and informing them about external services.
Main Requirements:

We seek an enthusiastic, motivated individual passionate about working with children and families. You should have a nurturing personality, be capable of planning and delivering play activities, and be committed to providing excellent service to children and the community. Appointments are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
